Welcome to North Central HIDTA
At North Central HIDTA, our mission is clear and critical: to support federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies in disrupting the illegal drug market and combating the devastating impact of drug trafficking in our communities.
Through strategic funding, essential resources, and strong collaboration, we work alongside more than 150 dedicated partner agencies across 17 counties in Wisconsin and Minnesota, supporting over 30 law enforcement and prosecution initiatives. The HIDTA Program enhances intelligence sharing, strengthens investigative capabilities, and fosters partnerships that drive meaningful progress in the fight against drug-related crime.
Our efforts are making a real difference. In 2024, thanks to the dedication of our partner agencies and Executive Board, North Central HIDTA played a key role in disrupting or dismantling 80 drug trafficking organizations, resulting in the seizure of:
- More than 2.2 million fentanyl pills
- Over 1,736 kilograms of methamphetamine
- More than 1,500 crime guns
- Over $9.5 million in drug-related assets
